About four miles northwest of downtown at the busy crossroads of West Market Street, West Exchange Street, and Hawkins Avenue, Wallhaven is the commercial heart of Akron's western communities. Roughly 5,000 residents share two square miles of dense retail and dining — Swensons Drive-In, Ken Stewart's Grille, the Eye Opener diner, Graf's Garden Shop, Whole Foods, and Acme Fresh Market all sit within a few blocks of each other.
